Epoxies
Epoxies range in their bonding capabilities, work life, viscosity, shear strength, temperature resistance, and color. Wes Adhesives carries epoxies that work well for applications requiring bonding, potting or encapsulating.

Epoxies offer exceptional bond strength and are extremely durable throughout aging and weathering. They are excellent at bonding similar and dissimilar substrates, and offer exceptional gap filling characteristics. All epoxies are solvent free, very easy to work with and come in either 1 or 2 parts.
cyanoacrylates/ Instant Adhesives
Instant Adhesives are known for bonding extremely quickly, as well as, having good resistance to temp and humidity. They form very strong, long term bonds, and are great for applications that are not feasible with long open times. They help companies cut valuable production time and increase output. Instant Adhesives are available in very low viscosities, similar to water and increase in viscosity all the way to gel form. Instant Adhesives also exhibit high bond elasticity with good impact and vibration resistance. Instant adhesives are great for bonding rubber to metal, and other dissimilar substrates.
General specs on Instant adhesives;
temperature resistance generally ranges from -65F to 250F
average cure time is from 5 seconds to 1 minute depending on viscosity

Primers: Wes Adhesives carries a Heptane base and a Isopropyl base primer for difficult to bond substrates.
Activators: Options for activators include Acetone based, Isopropyl Alcohol based, heptane based, modified solvent based and mineral spirit based activators for faster curing.
we carry surface insensitive cyanoacrylates (instant adhesives) for difficult to bond substrates. Our highest temperature resistant cyanoacrylates can withstand heat up 275F
when applying cyanoacrylates substrate surfaces should be clean from all contaminates including; grease, oi, dirt, release agents etc. During application only a minimum amount of material is needed to achieve the optimum performance. Instant adhesives are designed to cure between two surfaces in a thin film. A free falling drop will typically spread to give 1 square inch of coverage. Adhesive only needs to be applied to one surface (generally it is applied to the less porous surface) then mate parts together with firm pressure until the adhesive cures to fixture strength. This will happen in under 30 seconds in most cases.
with proper storage cyanoacylates can last up to a year on the shelf.
